Suzanne Anderson

Suzanne M. Anderson is a Texas lawyer who is Of Counsel to the firm since June 2025. Suzanne prosecuted employment discrimination litigation for more than 30 years as a Sr. Trial Attorney, Supervisory Trial Attorney and then Assistant Regional Attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Dallas District Office. She directed the Dallas District Office’s litigation program and actively litigated cases relating to anti-discrimination law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Equal Pay Act, The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA).

At the EEOC, Suzanne represented individuals and classes of aggrieved individuals at jury trials and mediations in federal court, including but not limited to:

  • EEOC v. Denton County, (E.D. Texas) Final judgment of $115,000 in individual Equal Pay Act case.
  • EEOC v. Hillshire, (E. D. Texas) Title VII settlement of $4 million in race discrimination case with graffiti, slurs and disparate treatment brought on behalf of class of African-American bakery workers. 
  • EEOC v. CBS (N.D. Texas) ADEA settlement of $215,000 for female traffic reporter fired because of her age.
  • EEOC v. Dell (N.D. Texas) Equal Pay Act and Title VII settlement of $75,000 for Female IT analyst.
  • EEOC v. Emcare (N.D. Texas) Jury verdict award of $499,000 to three employees in Title VII sex harassment and retaliation case.
  • EEOC v. Central Freight (N.D. Texas), ADEA settlement on the first day of trial. $400,000 for dockworkers terminated because of age.
  • EEOC v. Service Temps Inc. (N.D. Texas) Jury verdict of $184,400 (remittitur to $103,200) in ADA case for individual applicant with hearing impairment who was denied hire. Affirmed by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
  • EEOC v. Bobrich (N.D. Texas) Jury verdict of $166,500 in ADA case to deaf employee who was harassed and then terminated. Affirmed by Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

After receiving a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987, Suzanne worked for the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights. She also worked for the City of Dallas in the Labor and Employment section where she represented the City in employment discrimination cases tried in federal and state court.

Suzanne has been Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas

Board of Legal Specialization since 1998.
