Throughout his 20 year legal career, Robert has represented employers and employees in various areas of litigation and administrative proceedings, including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation while employed by national law firms.

Recognized as a “New York Super Lawyer” for 2016 and 2017, Robert focuses his practice on civil rights, employment discrimination, and qui tam actions where he has obtained significant settlements on behalf of victims of employment discrimination, discrimination in housing, as well as civil rights violations.  Additionally, Robert has lead litigation teams representing hundreds of plaintiffs in actions against various entities.

He also has extensive  experience defending employers against claims under federal and state civil rights and labor statutes, including Title VII and the Equal Pay Act. He has represented employers in all areas of workplace disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, common-law torts, non-competes, unfair competition, trade secrets, wrongful termination, and constitutional law claims.

Robert received his J.D. from New York Law School. He received his B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Robert is admitted to practice before the United States District Court of New Jersey and the Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars, and the American Bar Association.

Robert also serves as a member of the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section as well as Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations Alumni Association.
