Brendan represents employees in all types of disputes with their employers, including claims of harassment, retaliation, discrimination, and unpaid wages. He litigates in State and federal courts in New York, and advocates for employees on an individual, class, and/or collective action basis. He also guides employees through administrative agency filings with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. 

Some of his notable individual settlements include: 

• $750,000 settlement for claims of sexual orientation and disability harassment 
• $225,000 settlement for claims of pregnancy discrimination 
• $150,000 settlement for claims of race discrimination, after defeating a motion to dismiss 
• $150,000 settlement for claims of unpaid minimum wages and overtime  

Brendan joined VKV as an associate in 2022. Before that, he worked at a prestigious Manhattan law firm. 

He graduated summa cum laude from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2021, where he was a member of the Hofstra Law Review and participated in the New York State Pro Bono Scholars Program.  He received the Gold Public Service Award for his commitment to pro bono work during law school.
