” Sara Kane is a compassionate individual and my experience with her and her associates was very gratifying. Most importantly, they took time to listen to me and then they went to bat for me and provided me with a fabulous outcome. I will be forever grateful. This firm is the one you should choose.”

Melissa W. – New York, NY

“Sara and her partners got me through the worst two and half years of my life. If I didn’t have them on my side making it so much easier for me I don’t know what I would have done. They are caring, knowledgeable and make you feel like you are the only client. If you have need an attorney, this is who to call”

Cheryl L. Wade – Harold F. McNiece Professor of Law – St. Johns University

“I teach law at St. John’s University School of Law.  James Vagnini was a featured speaker at a major conference I organized on race and gender issues in the corporate workplace. Every year I invite James to teach a class in employment discrimination.  James is the highlight of the semester for me and my students.  I invite James because I want my students to hear about the complexity and variety of the cases he so expertly handles.  I most admire the fact that James works extremely hard for his clients in the courtroom and outside of the courthouse.  He is a talented litigator, a patient counselor for his clients, and a civil rights activist who engages the media, politicians and the public in general on the pressing issue of workplace discrimination.” –Cheryl L. On April 4, 1968, at 6:01 p.m., Dr. Martin Luther King leaned over the balcony at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN to request that Ben Branch play “Precious Lord” at the evening rally.  A shot rang out and our 20th century Moses would never speak again.  The tragic assassination of the Dreamer killed the Dreamer but not the Dream. Therefore, on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at Dallas City Hall, please join us to continue Dr. King’s dream by supporting Dallas Sanitation Workers and their struggle for a living wage.  Dallas is one of the richest cities in the world and shamefully pays sanitation workers minimum wage with no benefits.  Dr. King lost his life fighting for the sanitation workers of Memphis, TN, 43 years ago.  Forty-three (43) years later, Dallas sanitation workers are the only sanitation workers of a major city making minimum wage with no benefits. I plead with you to please join us at 5:30 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2011 at Dallas City Hall to stand witness for justice and human decency. These are people that Jesus called the “least of these.”  For more information, please contact Peter Johnson at 214-636-7267or 214-948-3893. Yours Always in the Struggle, Reverend Peter Johnson, Institute for Non-Violence

Courie G. – Lake Charles, Louisiana

“I want to personally thank all of you for everything you have done and continue to do. Without you, we had no where to go but backwards… back to a job and company that never appreciated anything we’ve done. I truly thank all of you. As this has been a hard time for me, I appreciate the encouragement to move forward, which has given me the strength to follow through with this. You all have been such a blessing to me more than you can imagine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Herma R. – Long Island, NY

“I will not hesitate to recommend Valli Kane & Vagnini, LLP. My life changing experience required a law firm which maintains justice and is persistent in following the rule of law. One that has ‘Best in Class,’ is purpose driven with a proven track record and one that will utilize the ‘David vs Goliath’ approach when necessary. I have found all these characteristics with Valli Kane &Vagnini, LLP. I am satisfied with their dedication, their uncompromising standards and the intensity with which they have engaged the challenges of my circumstances. They have embraced me with courteous service and an ease of doing business.”

Rev. Ronald Wright, Executive Director Justice Seekers Texas

Eric M. – Dallas, Texas

“Racism is a process of evil and ignorance. I began my fight against institutional racism in 2005 when I started working for Allied Aviation in Dallas, Texas. Coming from professional football where color took a backseat to teamwork, I was devastated to see that in this modern age managers and co-workers could not see past the color of skin. I, along with numerous other African-American and Hispanic co-workers, were subjected to constant racial threats, symbols and epithets which left permanent scars that can be forgiven, but not forgotten. The environment was so bad we had no choice but to fight back for our own health and sanity. To me, if you do not stand for SOMETHING, you’ll truly fall for anything. We could not fight this fight alone, however. We called upon James Vagnini and his firm in New York to lead this fight. Without Valli Kane & Vagnini’s determination and know-how, we would not have made it through. After VKV’s relentless fight, we convinced the Federal Government to join in our fight against Allied and we were ultimately vindicated when the company not only compensated us for the harm they caused, but they were forced to commit to companywide changes and measures that would protect their minority employees well into the future. In the darkest times at Allied, we learned that knowledge is power and the attorneys at VKV had plenty of it. I am extremely thankful for the attorneys and their tireless effort to see us through this time.” Attorney Advertising
